    HELLO, My name is Tom Smith. I am a freelance graphic designer and animator with 25 years of experience. I have worked in all areas of Visual Communicative Arts. From concept to finished product, I have a large array of talents and skills. I am able to produce stimulating visual products and art in a wide range of mediums.

   Fine Artist, Designer, Animator, 2D/3D Arts, Tattoos, and Aerosol Artist. I’m no “One Trick Pony”.
My ability to adapt any style to a targeted audiences is impeccable. I’m comfortable working in a team environment or solo.

Born and raised in Philadelphia I started my career as a STAT camera operator for a local printing company. Moving from the mechanical page layout process of cutting rubylith, to attending The Art Institute of Philadelphia were I received my Bachelor's degree in Visual Communications.

Along the way, I have received world wide recognition as a graffiti muralist and fine artist. Two large solo shows several group shows across the country have featured my paintings. Being featured in a multitude of books, videos, magazines, video games, and various news articles lead me to create murals for clients like M&M,Chrysler Dodge, Mercury, Tylenol, Trident, Greyhound, ECHO, NIKE, and Heineken.

   After receiving my degree, I started working in the Advertising industry as Creative Director for a promotional products company developing printed materials and strategizing marketing campaigns. Several years later, wanting more of my ideas to be seen, lead me to become Senior Designer for a New Jersey based advertising company. There I branded companies, designed billboards, mailers, for a cornucopia of brands and clients.

   Wanting to take my art and design talents to the next level, I developed Motion Graphics and Animation skills and quickly became lead Designer and Animator for a large Philadelphia TV and video production company. For the past 10yrs I created title graphics, show openers, corporate videos and television commercials for clients like; COMCAST, GSK, CIM, Timelife, A&E, Bio, History Chanel and many more.

   I am currently working as a freelance creative agent. Providing Design, Animation, Illustration, Direction and Consulting for a variety of clients and businesses. On or off the computer in an efficient and professional manor, I keep my clients happy and coming back for more.
